The Invisalign Process
Your dentist will begin by creating a digital 3D image of your teeth by taking x-rays, impressions and photographs. Using this image, they will map out a unique treatment plan, predict the precise movements of your teeth over time, and calculate how to achieve the exact results you want. We will then give you a series of custom-made aligners, which are changed every few weeks, to guide your teeth gradually into position.
How Long Does It Take?
Most of our Invisalign patients complete their case anywhere between 9-24 months. During your consultation, we can let you know if you qualify for Invisalign and approximately how long it will take to give you the results that you’re looking for.
Once new aligners have been worn for a short time, they become unnoticeable and very comfortable to wear. There is none of the painful tightening that comes with traditional braces and no sharp metal brackets or wires to irritate your mouth. Some patients feel tightness on their teeth when they change to a new set of aligners, this feeling typically goes away fairly quick and is considered much more comfortable than other orthodontic treatments.
The aligners used for the Invisalign treatment can be removed to allow you to continue with your usual oral care routine. This also means you can remove your aligner for short periods whenever you need to, so you can be sure to look your best at an important event or celebration.

How Often Do I Need to See You?
It’s necessary to schedule regular appointments with your dentist. These visits typically occur every 6-8 weeks. The reason why you will need to come in is to ensure that your Invisalign treatment is progressing as planned. We will check your progress and tweak anything along the way as necessary.
How Much Does It Cost?

Factors that will determine the overall cost include treatment time, the complexity of your case and treatment goals.
